If I order, how quick can you start and how long will it take?

We can typically start orders for windows and doors in approx x 2 - 3 weeks from receipt of signed order; conservatories will be longer but typically it’s 6 weeks from receipt of order. This would be longer if planning permission for your conservatory is required, or you are ordering an Orangery or Veranda as there is a longer manufacturing lead time with these products than standard conservatories.

Will I have a guarantee for the work?

Yes, we issue a warranty certificate with the invoice explaining what is guaranteed and for how long. Don't forget Ultraframe Home Improvements are the only members of the Glass and Glazing Federation (GGF) in the Ribble Valley and as such work to the GGF Code of Good Practice.

We haven't see the conservatory design we like in the brochure. Does that mean we can't have it?

If the design is structurally possible then you can have it. Conservatories are bespoke products i.e. they are made to order. So if you haven't seen a design or even colour you like speak to one of our Home Improvement advisors about what you require and they can create a 3D drawing using our in-house conservatory design software. Your only limited by your imagination

I dont want a pushy sales man, will I be pressured into placing an order?

Absolutely Not! .We will send a written quotation after our advisors visit, this will be left with you for about 1 week and then we will give you a polite telephone call to discuss the quote with you, answering any questions you may have. Our advisors are paid a salary and are not driven by commissions like many in our industry.

Are the builders and fitters employed by Ultraframe?

Yes, we prefer to directly employ all of the main trades that are needed in conservatory , window and door installation. We may occasionally need to use sub contract specialist trades.

Are you a FENSA member and will I get a FENSA certificate for windows and doors?

Yes Ultraframe Home Improvements are a member of fensa and on completion of the job, we upload your job details to the FENSA database and a certificate is issued direct to you by them. The certificate proves that the product meets the requirements of the Building Regulations.

If the conservatory requires planning permission can you provide this service?

Yes we will submit and handle all planning applications with the Local Authority on your behalf

How long after completion of the work is it before I have to pay the invoice?

Its important that you have planned how to finance the work before work commences. Ultraframe  Home Improvements offer a number of finance packages so please feel free to discuss this with one of our Home Improvement advisors. Invoices for work are issued on the satisfactory completion of work.

Is there a charge for a salesman to visit?

Our building advisors visit you at home and there is no charge – our staff are all paid a salary and are not dependent on commissions.
