Installing energy efficient windows is only part of the story. What happens to the existing windows that are removed?

In the UK each year well over 5 million windows are replaced and this generates 190,000 tonnes of waste.

Here at Ultraframe Home Improvements, all of the materials used in your existing windows which we remove are recycled.

Glass is a very recyclable material and less energy is used in converting used glass into new glass.

Replaced pvc and timber frames are separated and recycled too, as is valuable metals like aluminium. PVC can be recycled up to 10 times whilst aluminium is infinitely recyclable.
