Composite Doors
When it comes to replacing your doors, you want to consider the most elegant and design led solution - aluminium and timber composites.
Tough, durable colour coated aluminium externally, warm to the touch timber internally. Combine these with high performance sealed units to give you beautiful, durable energy efficient windows (‘u’ value 1.8, WER band ‘C’) And, of course, as a long established local retailer we have the knowledge to survey, install and service your requirements too.
Selecting the right style of door to make that grand entrance or maximising security to the side or rear of your home is a major decision. Virtually all shop fronts are made from aluminium because of the strength, durability and security it provides. We have combined this technology with the beauty of wood to provide a truly aesthetically pleasing residential application. Traditional or very modern solutions can be obtained with a slim yet reassuringly solid and secure product. Inward or outward opening, French or single, folding or sliding - the choice is yours.

Options
Colour and material options are virtually infinitely variable. Internally, you can choose different timber finishes in differing rooms or order your frames pre-primed ready to receive you own decoration.
Externally, powder coated aluminium is used and is available in a range of standard colours - or as an option - choose from a wide range of RAL or BS colours.
We can vary the type of glass used in your windows and doors, to include the most thermally efficient and even self cleaning Pilkington Activ glass.
Our hardware - locks, handles, hinges, mechanism and fixings are of the highest quality. Additional higher security options are available for vulnerable situations.
Technical Specification
Some so called ‘alternative’ systems are often predominant timber with a then thin aluminium foil exterior which still allow water to come in contact with the timber, lowering the life
expectancy of the window.
Unlike weaker alternatives, our system is mainly aluminium providing strength and durability where it is needed - in the locking and hinge areas. Any moisture or condensation reaching the glazing chamber cannot reach the internal timber due to the PVC thermal break. This thermal break limits cold air transferring to the timber and virtually eliminates any condensation forming.
The timber becomes an integral part of the system prior to final assembly. The final assembly connects both materials independently, catering for any differences in expansion. Preformed insulated foam is inserted around the sections to provide a lower U-value (a measure of thermal performance) to help comply with Building Regulations and making your home as comfortable as possible.
