What are fascias and soffits?

These are the areas of your home where the roof meets the rest of the property. Often this area is called Roofline. Traditionally roofline products were made in timber but it’s a porous material and eventually rots, due to infrequent or non existent maintenance!

 

The term ‘Roofline’ can encompass a number of other terms too, such as;

• Bargeboards
• Rainwater goods like gutters and rain water down pipes
• Decorative Cladding and weatherboarding
• Verges

How we do it
We only use skilled tradesmen and proper regulated access equipment ( we would NEVER put you, your family or our staff in jeopardy). Should we find the presence of asbestos cement boarding we safely remove it and dispose of it in licensed disposal facilities.

We NEVER place the new Roofline products over the rotten timber products – everything is stripped back to solid bearing material. Only then do we add back the PVC-U soffits and fascias.

A typical Roofline project can take 2-5 days depending upon the complexity of the work in hand and how many in the team are working on the project.
